We believe the good news that we have received needs to be shared, and part of the way we do this is through our outreach programmes, as shown below. If you wish to know more about any of these activities, contact the office (03 216 0281).
Brown Bags - one-off emergency food parcels prepared by the parish but distributed solely through approved external aid agencies.
Sit and Be Fit – a weekly programme of seated aerobics, meeting at the Lindisfarne Centre, but funded separately.
Craft & Knitting Group - an opportunity to share friendship, morning tea, and make crafts suitable for most abilities.
During the Covid 19 crisis we gave away face-masks to young people at MYPLC and Waihopai Youth Transition House.
Further outreach is provided by Methodist Mission Southern. Services include Youth Transition Housing, Client Support Services and literacy and numeracy programmes. For more information on all their services, please visit their website.
