The Lindisfarne Centre is planned around the core of the complex, an octagonal auditorium, with the entire building having an integrated design providing for the maximum of facilities and versatility.
The auditorium, in the heart of the building, can seat 150 people, and is used for a wide range of activities from Sunday worship services, to dinners and dances. The lounge is in high demand for meetings and smaller gatherings, and has an important additional function as an extension to the auditorium.
The multipurpose rooms combine flexibility with versatility, with the aid of folding doors and can be arranged as three separate rooms, one small and one larger room or a single hall. Combined with an extensive audio system which provides full sound, production, recording and playback facilities, and the commercially licensed kitchen which regularly handles full catering of three course meals for 120 guests, the Lindisfarne Methodist Community Centre certainly is more than just a church.
